I've had this problem a couple of times. I use a notebook with built-in wireless connected to a netgear wireless network with an external hard drive to store my music via iTunes. I just did the following: - updated the firmware; - updated iTunes; - checked for errors on my hard drive; - defragged my hard drive; - re-scanned my music in the SETTINGS of Squeeze Network software (v 7.2).
It worked fine and has been working fine since. Hope this helps.
