The latency you describe can be as a result of poor wireless
connectivity - the Squeezebox/Duet receives the command promptly from
the remote, but the connection your router is slow or interrupted so it
looks as if SN is running slowly.  Are you only connecting the
Squeezebox to SN or do you ever connect it to Squeezecenter?  Do you
see the same kind of issues?

What is the wireless signal strength of the Squeezebox you are having
problems with (you can see this in Squeezecenter/Settings/Information)?


Do you have a lot of other wireless networks in the immediate vicinity?
If so, are you on a non-overlapping wireless channel with those other
networks?
