I'm locking up a players+server config for my parents for christmas.
I tried building the server like a tank, with a system restore
partition activated via a USB key, for example.
In case of (software) problem they can roll-back to the 'factory'
configuration, with SC 7.3.0 and a few plugins.

I wonder if there is a way to avoid players updating their firmware
when connected to SN; The only part (I hope) I didn't handle yet is
remote administration, since they have a tendency to factory reset
their router from time to time (which would erase any opened port). So
updating SC is not really to be expected, unless 2/3 times a year when
I pay them a visit.

So, is it possible to connect to SN with an outdated firmware, refusing
firmware updates ?
