I had similar problems after 'playing around' with the settings on my router. The only thing that worked for me was to re-flash the router firmware and set it up again from scratch. I have no idea what the problem was but that cured it for me. If you do something like that, make sure you make a note of ALL the router settings first, then put them back in manually rather than rely on any backup/restore facility in the router. The problem I had may have just been a one-off - but it could be worth a try.
