If it's just your PC that is on the VPN (ie, you are running VPN client software on your machine), then the Squeezebox shouldn't have a problem getting to MySB.com at all. Ie, if you put another machine, say a laptop, on your network while you're working, the laptop should be able to get to the internet at large fine, right? So should the Squeezebox. You won't be able to play local music (at least not served by that machine) since that machine is effectively on your work network while running the VPN, but MySB should still be fine.
