I'm fully aware that there are problems, as I reported I experience them too, but at the time when I wrote that you should check your own network it wasn't completely down (it has been a for some periods since). If someone at that time couldn't connect, they should start checking things at their end, and just because your other equipment can reach the internet doesn't mean there's nothing wrong. I sometimes get the opposite problem, my Squeezebox works fine, but I have to restart my router for my computers to connect. But I also wanted to point out that it's difficult to compare experienced if you don't have the same family (fat or slim) of equipment.
