I'm in Morocco and I have the same problems of connection to
mysqueezebox.com - I would estimate the time (I can listen to radio
stations) to 25%. The other 75% of the time I have a useless, expensive
black box that doesn't even give me enough light to read a book at
night.
Considering what I have read on the previous posts and the fact that
the problem exist for a long time now (a year ?? maybe more)without
having be solved - considering also the poor info we get from Logitec
about the nature of the problem (why can't we get a precise technical
info about what's going out ??) - I started to wondered if the problem
is more a question of finance than technical - Isn't it because the
capacity of the servers are too limited and it would cost a lot of
money to Logitec to upgrade them or just a question of limited
bandwidth from the servers (that has a cost to upgrade too) - If that's
the reason , there is a great chance that the problems will continue for
a long time. Is there a physical limit on the amount of connections
possible on the server that force logitec to share them among a total
of users that exceed the capacity - Does it make sense to say that when
I connect to the server, someone else loose the connection ? If so,
isn't it a good reason not to recommend anyone to buy the product ?
