I really wanted to like the squeezebox but my patience has been tested too far now. I can't think of any other product that has been so unreliable and has wasted so much of my life. What is so painful is that when it works it is so very very good. Otherwise it would have been on Ebay months ago.
But server issues affecting consumer hardware??? You just can't do that, under any circumstances. You need to pay for backup servers. If it means the things cost more to buy in the first place, then put the price up, please... just don't let mysqueezebox.com go down. Ever. I'll pay a subscription if you can guarantee that server. Unfortunately I don't see any reason why this post will change anything, as all the other hundreds of complaints out there seem to have gone unheeded. Time for a Sonos trial to see if there is a product that just works.
