Hi Thanks for reply. My mysqueezebox account works fine if I log on on the internet. Also I bought Boom new and has been working fine for 8 months. Will have a look at sbs settings when I get home. Thought it might be a mysqueezeboc.com problem I notice in the info on the Boom says the server is somewhere in Germany (can't remember exactly where) which seems strange because I am in New Zealand. Problems started after I installed sbs 7.5.1 when running in windows (normally I run linux.) When I ran again in linux it was still 7.5.0 . I completely removed sbs, deleted all configuration folders, reinstalled, rebooted PC, modem, router, factory reset boom, and still doesn't work.
