After spending the past few days on these issues, I stumbled upon a solution that works for both the artwork problem & the constant re-buffering on CBC Jazz. First of all, thanks toby10 for your input. I tried many different streams over the long weekend at various quality level. They all seemed to hold the stream throughout the listening session. The only stream I was having a problem not maintaining the stream was CBC Jazz. I even tried one test 1 day where I used the CBC Jazz player from their website on my computer streaming & had the Squeezeboxes streaming, too. The Squeezeboxes would only maintain the stream for about an hour, as before, yet, my computer (using the CBC Jazz player) kept humming along. So, I gave up trying to listen to the CBC Jazz & played other streams instead, which did fine, except I still had the artwork issue. Sometimes the player(s) would grab the artwork & other times not. What I stumbled upon was to go into "more info" after selecting a stream & then select "remove from playlist". I then need to re-select the stream & this second time it grabs the artwork & maintains it throughout the listening session. I then decided to give CBC Jazz another try. I selected the stream - artwork didn't show - so I did the artwork fix as previously outlined in this post - this grabbed & maintained the artwork along with maintaining the audio stream throughout the day! I've had CBC Jazz playing with artwork & no re-buffering issues for 8+ hours/day. The only thing is everyday (every time) at the beginning of a session I need to go through this "fix" of selecting - then removing - then selecting again for both the artwork & stream to maintain. Is this what everyone else have to do? Or are you able to select a stream - the artwork appears - go to another stream - select it & the artwork & stream plays - etc. with none of this "remove from playlist" & select the stream steps? If I want to go from CBC Jazz to another stream is the protocol before going (selecting) another stream is I need to "remove CBC Jazz from the playlist" - then make my selection for both the artwork & the other stream to play?
