Almost the same problem here. Have been runing the SBS on a NAS for years now, and never had this problem.
After the update to 7.5.3, the scrolling of the RSS is very choppy. No matter which speed or pixels I choose nothing happens with the RSS smoothnes and speed, but it works fine for etc. the song-title. And turning over to mySB the speed stays the same for the RSS, but that I can understand do reduce the trafic on the mySB server.
