I understand that the server needs to listen on port 9000 in order to
serve the administration webpage - indeed that works just fine.

I am unfamiliar with its usage of port 3483, but I have confirmed that
one is not in use by anything else.

Further, my SB Touch can play music from mysqueezebox.com just fine,
and it is behind the same router as the FreeBSD box. I am just
guessing, but I imagine the Touch uses the same port(s) as the server
software when connecting to mysqueezebox.com.

What's more, I have confirmed that the login failure comes from a HTTP
GET against the URL http://www.mysqueezebox.com/api/v1/login?blablabla

That HTTP GET doesn't need any special ports, of course (other than 80,
and yes browsing the web is working : )

I do appreciate all the help though
