We don't know it is plausible that there ar some revenue from service providers too ,kickback etc . Otherwise it would depend on continius hardware sales . Squeezeboxes has a disadvantage both backward an future compatible with long life cycles . Continius hardware sale must be driven by some degre of planned obsolescence . My iPad1 is never than my Touch and I have an old SB3 in an box somewhere ,take a guess wich device that feels most outdated.
