+1 yes the focus has shifted to the cloud from local files .

There are a bunch of other possible backbones ,most generic Internet
radio devices use Recive which is a chipset but also a service , there
are others that indon't know the name of .

But many user are unaware of that most Internet radios actually uses a
server innthe background somewhere .

Mysqueezebox.com is more obvius as it is user configurable and you can
interact and fiddle with it to some degree ,this is IMO better and more
flexible but maybe more complicated ?
