Agree, that somehow your SB3 is losing connection and that this is a
problem in your local network. Just because your wifi is working for you
laptops and other things doesn't mean it is working for the SB3. Your
problem has nothing to do with mysb.com or the internet in general. 
Keep in mind that in testing as a wired player, you have to actually
select the ethernet connection in the SB3. Simply pluging in an ethernet
cable doesn't automatically switch to cable connection. wifi cards
within SB3's are definitely known to go bad or even just become loose.
