No - it just means something in the wifi connection is not right.  I
found that when wifi card fails - it fails totally, no interim
intermittent fault and when it does SB3 display will go blank.

If you have a laptop/PC with wifi connection you should try to run
netstumblr to see the quality/stability of the wifi signal.

Do you have a local LMS server ?
If so can you run the network test using wifi from the SB3
Settings/Information menu - let it run for 10-15 mins to see if the
problem is bursts of interference or general poor connection.

Replacement of SB3 wifi card is easy but finding a replacement card can
be a little tricky depending on where you live.
