Who is your ISP they could be traffic shaping or trottling certain content ? The difference LSM vs Mysqueezebox.com . Normally not much , as soon as the connection has been establish metadata and menu been refreshed etc the radio station streams directly to the device not trough mysqueezebox.com or LMS . However LMS can do some tricks it can transcode between formats nor usually suported be the player . It can also proxy radio streams ! this is interesting to you . When using LMS go to : In the player settings in the web-UI you have "*MP3 Streaming Method*" set that one to *proxied* , this causes the computer to buffer the stream it might be much better than the player in doing this . LMS has some more tricks for you .
