"yes"  it's slightly different than the official app it has something
that people prefer over the official app playlists are there but not "my
music" and it does not play different streams on different players as
the official one does .

I don’t actually know about the andriod apps , but i suspect some of
them works fine with Triode's spotify app . It does on iOS

But just install it and try if you have a local server running , they
can coexist and it cost nothing to try . So just do it then you know .
Triode's app gets an orange icon in most interfaces so that you can tell
it from the official green icon .
