Well, it looks like its official. I I found this email in my box this morning:
February 27, 2015 -Dear RadioIO subscriber, Effective February 27, 2015 RadioIO has decided to focus its resources on providing the best streaming business background music possible. As such, we have discontinued our consumer subscription service. We greatly appreciate your loyalty to us but we feel that we can no longer divide our attention across multiple business lines. The Bubba Army Radio live streams and archives will continue to be available. If you have any questions or comments please write: [email protected]. Sincerely, Zachary McAdoo Chairman & CEO - Note: no mention of any refund. I think the statement about 'Bubba Army Radio' gets them off the hook as far as refunds: they converted my, and I assume all, subscription at the Premium level to a 'Bubba' subscription some time back. So, since they are continuing my 'subscription', they don't have to refund me. I never got a notification of this change to 'Bubba' radio, but when I asked via email to radio IO what was going on (just the other day), I was told by 'Greg' that it had been converted. So Radio IO, favorite stations for many of us, has become "Elevator Music" radio.
