Hi mal4mac, I found your thread here, but having tried all sorts of things myself have still failed to find a solution. I tried adding the TuneIn App on the Touch, but even when playing on my PC it won't play the aac stream and I couldn't see the aac stream it on the Touch at all.
The contents of the .pls file do indeed change over time, so that puts paid to that idea. If I get any more (daft) ideas I'll post them here. LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit, 44.1->192kbps. LMS & Squeeze2upnp to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp & ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Minimserver (server) & upplay (control point) to same renderers & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 14.04 laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
