Cracked it!
I was trying to create a station on the Touch itself and failing. What
I should have done is:
1. create the full station on mysqueezebox.com, ie:

2. Run Tiny LMS on the Touch. Now there may be more than one way to do
this, but I found I had to insert a USB stick and then Start LMS locally
on the Touch. (If anyone knows an easier way please say so)
3. Go to the Favourites menu, on mysqueezebox.com, and press and hold
the item you added at 1 above
4. An option comes up to allow you to save it locally. Do so.
5. Back out to the main menu and back down to favourites again.
6. Play the new local favourite, and it works!
I knew there had to be a way... I hope mal4mac is still monitoring this
thread.
LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit,
44.1->192kbps. LMS & Squeeze2upnp to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp & ESLs) &
Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Minimserver (server) & upplay (control
point) to same renderers & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to
Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 14.04
laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with
Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver. Have a Touch
with EDO, and a spare, but don't use.
