Hi Michael, No, the 'Show in My Apps menu' only changes the location of the Triode Spotify in the LMS menu structure. When enabled, the Triode Spotify app will be available from LMS\My Apps\Spotify, when disabled the Triode Spotify app will be available from LMS\Radio\Spotify. It doesn't change anything in the Triode Spotify app itself. It does work around the problem that there can be only one active Spotify app under the LMS\My Apps\ menu...
