Well, above all I feel lucky that the Mysb.com services are still
running years after Logitech stopped selling and supporting
Squeezeboxes!

My two Hifiberry's are running fine in the new situation. I also have
some original SB Radio's and a local LMS instance managing my local
library and the Mysb.com connectivity, so perhaps that makes the
difference.
I think it helps when the basic use cases / setups in which
softwareplayers will still work with Mysb.com are summed up.
As far as I understand a local LMS is necessary in a lot of these
scenario's.

*Living Room:* HifiBerry DAC+ Pro & piCorePlayer
*Attic:* HifiBerry DAC+ RCA & piCorePlayer
*Kitchen:* SB Radio
*Other rooms:* 3x SB Radio
*Server:* Xubuntu 14.04LTS + LMS 7.8.0
