Thanks, Michael. For $6.00 USD, I purchased an app last night called "Squeeze Cntl" (v1.9.2, from angrygoatapps) for my Android phone. It works like a charm! Now that I know the old Logitech app was the issue, I will spring for iPeng for iPad, as well.
