Although I run most of my players via my local LMS Servers, I do still switch players over to MySqueezebox.com from time to time, for streaming radio listening. It's particularly handy in one of the places I work, where I have a resident Squeezebox system but don't always want to fire up the touring laptop where LMS sits.
When I use LMS, I usually prefer to control it from the local server under Windows, or from an Android app (I still use OrangeSqueeze). But, so far as I am aware, I can only control a player once it's connected to MySB.com from the dedicated IR remote or controls on the player itself. Is there any way of controlling MySB.com from an app / website? It's always seemed a tad odd to me that I can go to the MySB.com website and see the player connected and even manipulate some of its settings - but I can't make it play anything, or control its volume etc etc, other than at the player itself. All thoughts welcome.
