mysqueezebox.com is told the MAC address of the device when it connects. This is what MySq uses to associate a device with an account.
The new owner can contact Logitech support to ask for it to be reset on MySq but if the request does not happen to reach someone in Logitech support who does not know how to do it then the new owner can PM mherger here to ask for it to be done. The new owner could refer to this thread as well as evidence assuming that your forum email address (which mherger can see) is the same as the one you used to register on MySq.
