There shouldn't be any exception.
Perhaps only certain people/player types are allowed to connect to mysb.com?
TBH I _thought_ mysb would reject any direct connection other than from original SB hardware. Well, you just proved me wrong... I checked the database and I'm currently seeing a few hundred non-SB players connected. Not a large number, but not the exception either.
Please note that this definitely is not the way to go. If I was asked to downsize the infrastructure for cost reduction reasons then this certainly would be something to be addressed early on. Directly connected devices use a lot more resources than those connected to LMS.
