Did I understand correctly? Squeezebox device hardware (aka "legacy endpoints" :D) won't work with https/TLS?
Not without LMS proxying the stream. Eg. it wouldn't work if connected to mysqueezebox.com directly. And LMS might need some tweaks too.
Is it possible for TIDAL to selectively NOT implement TLS protocol for the "US datacenter?"
Whether selectively or not, I'm not sure. But they told me they turned it off again.
Is "re-directing" service through the "EU datacenter" a possible long-term solution?
No. Because if they change, then they're likely going to change globally anyway.
