Thanks. Made a little headway. If the current player in the LMS UI is
registered on mysb, then it does actually switch that player over to
mysb - it's listed as Connected there.
But that wouldn't be a software player like squeezelite, would it?
IIRC any player should register on mysb.com automatically when connected
to a correctly configured LMS. But you can only connect native
Squeezebox players to mysb to work without LMS.
I wouldn't be surprised if my memory failed me, but that's the best I
remember.
And you don't need all players to be registered on mysb.com. As long as
one of yours is registered you should be good with running your player
using LMS.
I might have missed it, but what actual problem are you trying to solve?
Does something not work with one of your players?
