I can confirm that with the "mysqueezebox.com integration" setting disabled in the latest LMS 8.1.2, folder "On mysqueezebox.com" is indeed not re-added after deleting this folder in LMS Favorites.
You should only disable the prefs sync, if you need TIDAL etc., but not all of the mysb integration.
