No, I dont really want to discuss the merits of MQA or not, nor should I have to defend my preference to have it working. The plugin isnt open-source and there should be no problem using APIs that are protected by NDAs. No reason why a bunch of haters should tell me I shouldnt use the format. I just want to find out who to convince that the code is worth writing! And since Logitech made the plugin they are uniquely in position to support MQA. I couldnt do it myself due to the licensing issue and inability to open-source said APIs. I mean this latest trick of calling MQA "lossy" is just a joke. 16 bits CD quality isnt lossy, but expand it to 20 bits and its lossy because the last 4 are used for something else? That's some hater logic for sure! Just word-play designed to confuse people that dont know how lossy compression works. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ uudruid74's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72371 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115466 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
