It's not about specific data, it's about unnecessary data. If there is a way to do something without transmitting data and having an account on a third party's servers, you should always do it that way. I have not audited the sourcecode of what lms sends to logitech if signed in, and I don't have an account because I have not needed to so I can't tell what data is sent in that scenario. What I know is that Logitech wants me to have an account so I can use Deezer (for ex.) and I don't want an account, I don't want Logitech to store data about me.
