Hiya, There's been quite a lot of interest in squid-2.5 related work but no easy place to put it all. I've found trying to maintain a squid tree with a handful of useful extra functionality patched in quite a pain to manage and I'm sure others find the same.
So I've been playing with Monotone in an attempt to make managing this kind of work better and, so far, I quite like it. It gives developers the ability to work within their own repositories, pulling changes from other respositories either in a peer-to-peer style mode or through a 'central' repository. The relevant info is at http://www.cacheboy.net/ for now. You'll find a mailing list, references to Monotone and the monotone repository itself. I'd like to see a number of squid-2.5 related projects brought over into monotone to make merging and managing them easier. I'd also like to merge in changes into a 'head' branch so mature projects can be merged in and then incorporated into the work of others. Please email me directly if you have any questions or if something isn't working right. Adrian
