I've run out of time myself to figure them out tonight:

buildtest_layer-00-default.log:configure: error: cfgaux/configure failed
for helpers/negotiate_auth/squid_kerb_auth
FWIW: It seems to be FreeBSD or auto-tools version related, the kerb
auth was tested and found without breakage on Linux /w autoconf 1.62
before commit.

This is way old and just uncovered. default handling of some option not
working or documented properly in ./configure
buildtest_layer-02-maximus.log:configure: error: Unsupported tag name: yes
(3)
a syntax error to do with "class std::exception" when past the configure
breakage.
