Hi all, I am running squid on my redhat Linux 5.0 box. But everytime I have to run it manually whenever i start up the machine. What should i do so that it will run automatically as soon as i start up the machine with a user different than the root. As i tried to run it by putting some commands in rc.local file but it gave errors regarding running squid as a root. So what needs to be done so that squid will run as a different user at the time of boot-up. Umang
