Hi All, Niall Doherty has taken the time to rewrite and clean up the Squid FAQ section on Cache Digests. http://squid.nlanr.net/Squid/FAQ/FAQ-16.html Each item is as stand-alone as possible but if the items are read in order they form a detailed guide about how Cache Digests work, how they are implemented in Squid and how to debug/trace Cache Digest related activity (e.g. analysing logfiles and checking the statistics reported through the cache manager). Hopefully this will encourage more people to start using Cache Digests as they are still "experimental" and the specification will continue to undergo changes. More real live experiences and data are required.
