But it depends.. if you want to give different users different filter profiles in SquidGuard then you need the access controls in SquidGuard.


It also depend on the number of ACL's you want to have, and if you're really familiar with Squid.
I'm only using Squid ACL's, but not everybody can work very well with those acl's...


And in the past there were also a lot of discussions in this mailinglist regarding the performance between Squid ACL's and Squidguard...
