Yeah- zope! I've moved to Zope&Plone myself, it's very nice... The trouble is- i'm investigating this for wikipedia.org and they are using Apache/php. Apache doesn't know about ICP, so the only way would be to use port 7 to echo the request which i'd expect to be pretty useless for load balancing. I suspect the echo to be fast regardless of the load of the server.
