Further evidence your system is probably set up to use logrotate for rotating the Squid logs. I thing you will find a logrotate script for Squid in /etc/logrotate.d/squid, and that your squid.conf says "logfile_rotate 0" to support this way of rotating the logs (using both makes a conflict) Regards Henrik
