Hi, Sorry! It wasn't a build problem, it's a runtime error on Windows. I used Cygwin to build it and used "--prefix=C:/squid --enable-win32-service --enable-default-host" option. I ran the squid - $ squid.exe -d 9 I looked into the discussion thread for the "RLIMIT_NOFILE" problem, but there's no speific answer/instructions to solve it. Help me!

The 2.5 version builds very fine with MinGW.
