Microsoft has changed how updates are performed and now uses an SSL 
connection for the actual download.

If you have Squid configured as an "intercept proxy", you will not see
this traffic.

If you have DNS and DHCP configured to support "Web Proxy Automatic 
Detection" or have manually configured your browsers to use Squid as a Web 
Proxy, you will see the traffic in your logs flagged as using the CONNECT 
method.  This will not be cached.  Nor will any traffic where parameters 
are passed to extract the update from a "cab".
