My college authorities tell me that they wont be able to setup and run a DNS server at such a short notice. But they are allowing me to access the ISP's DNS. How do I configure the child to access the ISP dns server through the parent?

By making sure the child proxy

a) Has never_direct enabled to tell it must use a parent.

b) Has as simple access controls as possible. Any "ip" ACLs must be avoided such as the "to_localhost" acl but even dstdomain is dangerous.
