There is some meaningful statistics on this collectable via SNMP.
You can also build statistics from access.log by filtering out the lines having a server in the hierarchy field.
Any pointers in the right direction would be great. I would rather not have to resort to using tcpdump/ethereal to handle this problem.
What kind of statistics are you looking for?
