Well, gee - go to Source groups and set some up; then go to ACL lists and set some of those up.
One thing I guess I should mention - although I use "user" types in the source groups, the Webmin module doen't know anything about them. It can do the "host", "range", "subnet", and "domain" source types. Of course the "user" type is problematic in squidguard/squid, since you have to have some way of getting the user name and no way that I know of works very well. I use an identd program running on each client, which seems to work Ok most of the time; except of course for one system running Linux 6.2/Squid 2.4-3STABLE (hah!)/SquidGuard 1.1.4 which for some reason never seems to send the ident requests.

Well, when you log into Webmin on the server where you installed the module, go to the Servers tab and you should see an entry for Squidguard. If you click on it you should see a Webmin screen with the items Paths, Time Spaces, Source Groups, and others. I believe the first thing to do is go to the Module Config link in the upper left hand corner, and there you enter the path to your squidguard config and squidGuard.exe files. Make sure you use the same capitalization ("squidGuard" or "squidguard" as you used in the real file names). When you click on Save you should see the SquidGuard Webmin screen. Set up Paths first, then the other items.

Subject: RE: SquidGuard Webmin Module

There has been some discussion here about the Webmin module. In my own opinion, it has some defects although it is a good start. I have posted a modified version of it on my ftp site, along with the squidguard.conf file it manages. Note that the module REQUIRES that the blacklist sections begin with bl_. There are other requirements for the squidguard.conf file which I don't remember at present. I modified some of the files in the module (check file dates) to resolve a problem with the path to the blacklists. Another thing to note is that after you make your changes you must go to the squid module and re-init squid; the squidguard module doesn't do this.

I have used this module sucessfully but I don't really trust it; it is faster for me to log in via ssh and modify things directly.
