Yes you can setup transparent proxing on the Squid box then point your
routers to run all web traffic to the appropriate box and port. I did not
setup this on our routers but it can be done. Do a search on Google and you
shoud find some procedures. We have about 60 schools set up like this (I
work for an ISP that provides services for school systems) and I know it can
be done. I will see if I have the procedure on the Squid side and send it
to you. We use Cisco Routers and our CNA setup that side so I am not sure
what has to be out in there other than it is a redirect.
