Try checking the ownership of your db files. I just had that problem
yesterday and that is what it turned out to be.

Subject: flex scanner error

Hi

I have recently re-installed squidGuard-1.2.0-3 to a new server.
The server is running squid-2.4.STABLE1-5 on Red Hat 7.2.

I have installed version 2.7.7 of the Berkley DB.

My squidGuard is working like a dream and I have no problems with that. My
problem comes in when I do a:

/usr/sbin/squidGuard -C domains

I get the dreaded 'input in flex scanner failed' error.

Could somebody please help me out on this.

Thanks,

Ross
