Blocked in Squid vs. Blocked in SquidGuard

I want to add SquidGuard to make my blocking abilities more robust and
manageable.
Currently, I do have a few blocks that are configured into Squid but will
they remained blocked by Squid or will I need to ensure that they are
blocked by SquidGuard as well?
