Squid processing will be unchanged by the installation of squidGuard,
with one exception - every file that Squid plans to retrieve will
first require squidGuard approval. The blocks that you have configured
into Squid will never make it to the list of files that Squid plans
to retrieve.

Having said that, if you are going to be running squidGuard I'd
recommend that you do all of your blocking in your blocking software,
not in Squid's security. It will make it easier to maintain and allow
you to produce accurate log reports, should you decide to do that.
