Landmark's Bridge Theatre is proud to announce it will be presenting
its ninth annual summer midnight movie series Midnight Mass with your
hostess Peaches Christ, beginning June 30th and July 1st, 2006.
Hostess Peaches Christ is back again with eight more weeks of
midnight movie insanity. She assures us however that the films are
only the beginning. Be more afraid of her legendary and award winning
pre-show! Midnight Mass has grown to become a uniquely San Franciscan
phenomenon attracting sell-out crowds in the Bay Area and beyond.

JUNE 30th SPOOKTACULAR (Night of the Living Dead)
With Elvira (Cassandra Peterson)
http://www.peacheschrist.com/mmass/2006/week1.html

Designed to be the greatest midnight spook show ever, this unique
program includes trailers from both classic and campy horror films, a
hilarious-and oddly disturbing-early Technicolor cartoon called The
Cobweb Hotel (1936) and, as the main attraction, a full-length, uncut
print of George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead (1968), the
gross-out classic that literally changed the face of screen terror.
From beginning to end, Spooktacular! will have you falling out of
your seats with laughter, then jumping out of your seats with fright.

*Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) in person! Peaches worships at the altar
of Elvira during this opening weekend kick-off featuring an on-stage
interview, audience Q&A, and post-show fan meet and greet. This is
idol worship! Audience members encouraged to dress as Elvira for the
ultimate Elvira look-a-like contest. The Elvira Extravaganza
concludes with the introduction of Spooktacular!

JULY 1st CARRIE
With Elvira (Cassandra Peterson)
http://www.peacheschrist.com/mmass/2006/week1.html

"They're all going to laugh at you!" warns the mother (Piper Laurie)
of a tormented high school girl (Sissy Spacek) who discovers she has
telekinetic powers and uses them to wreak havoc on her vicious
classmates, including prom date William Katt and prankster John
Travolta. From the thriller by Stephen King. Amy Irving and Nancy
Allen co-star. Directed by Brian De Palma ( Scarface, Dressed to
Kill, The Untouchables). (USA, 1976)

*Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) in person! Peaches worships at the altar
of Elvira during this opening weekend kick-off featuring an on-stage
interview, audience Q&A, and post-show fan meet and greet. This is
idol worship! Audience members encouraged to dress as Elvira on Prom
Night for the ultimate Elvira at the Prom look-a-like contest. Every
admission comes with complimentary feminine hygiene product.

JULY 7th & JULY 8th BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS
Reunion show featuring John Lazar, Cynthia Meyers, & Erica Gavin
http://www.peacheschrist.com/mmass/2006/week2.html

Bosom buddies Russ Meyer (director) and TV film critic Roger Ebert
(screenwriter) teamed up for this campy, trashy and very funny look
at the drug and sexploits of an all-girl rock group in sleazy, late
'60s Hollyweird. So sordid it was originally rated X, though it now
carries a comparatively demure NC-17. Edy Williams, Erica Gavin,
Dolly Read, Cynthia Meyers, John Lazar, Marcia McBroom star. (USA, 1970)

*A Beyond The Valley of the Dolls reunion show! Live and in person-
Erica Gavin (Roxanne), Cynthia Myers (Casey Anderson), and John Lazar
(Ronnie 'Z-Man' Barzell) all appear. Peaches reunites the stars to
discuss the making of the film, their movie careers, audience Q&A,
and a fan meet & greet in the theatre lobby. This is Peaches'
happening and it's freaking her out!

JULY 15th SING-ALONG TEEN WITCH
Featuring Teen Witch herself Robyn Lively
http://www.peacheschrist.com/mmass/2006/week3.html

Louise (Robin Lively) was just another misfit teenager who pined for
a handsome boy and a popular life-until a chance meeting with Madame
Serena (Zelda Rubinstein, Poltergeist) reveals she is a direct
descendant of Salem witches! Now, if she can figure out how to use
her powers, she'll trump all her old antagonists and become The Most
Popular Girl. Dick Sargent ("Bewitched"), Joshua Miller, Marcia
Wallace and Shelly Berman co-star. Written by Second City alumnus
Robin Menken and cult auteur Vernon Zimmerman (Fade to Black);
directed by Dorian Walker (Making the Grade). (USA, 1989)

*Teen Witch was an instant Mass Classic when it made its Midnight
Mass premiere last summer. A sold-out crowd went insane for this film
demanding an annual repeat. This year's pre-show features Teen Witch
herself Robyn Lively in person! Also, projected song lyrics and the
haunting return of magically flawed sidewitch Martiny. Top that!

JULY 21st & JULY 22nd SHOWGIRLS
Free lapdances with every large corn!
http://www.peacheschrist.com/mmass/2006/week4.html

The mother of all contemporary camp classics, this celluloid travesty
about naked Las Vegas dancers stars a deliriously over-the-top
Elizabeth Berkley, who (almost literally) claws her way to the top,
high-stepping on Gina Gershon and anyone else in her way. Blame it on
the doggie chow! Directed by Paul Verhoeven (Basic Instinct, Starship
Troopers). (USA, 1995)

*The best movie ever made is preceded by Peaches' legendary Goddess-
inspired performance spectacular! As always, free lap-dances with
every large corn!

JULY 29th POLYESTER
In Odorama!
http://www.peacheschrist.com/mmass/2006/week5.html

John Waters, Baltimore's Sultan of Sleaze, developed the scratch-and-
sniff process known as Odorama to tell the sad tale of housewife
Francine Fishpaw (Divine), her miserable middle-class existence, and
her rescue at the hands of suave drive-in owner Todd Tomorrow (Tab
Hunter). Pink Flamingos alumni Edith Massey and Mink Stole co-star.
(USA, 1981)

*Peaches wants you to smell it. Dress to impress for the Project
Polyester Runway Show and Baltimore fashion contest! Filth rules.
Also, complimentary Odorama card with every admission!

AUGUST 5th DEATHRACE 2000
With Warhol superstar and cult movie icon Mary Woronov
http://www.peacheschrist.com/mmass/2006/week6.html

In the year 2000, hit and run has become the national sport. It's a
no-holds barred cross-country race, in which the aim is to kill off
not only your opponents, but as many pedestrians as possible.
Frankenstein (David Carradine), the champ, takes on Machine Gun Joe
Viturbo (Sylvester Stallone) and Calamity Jane (Mary Woronov) in this
classic B-movie thriller that will make you look both ways twice
before you cross the street! Directed
by Paul Bartel (Eating Raoul). (USA, 1975)

*Cult film icon and Warhol superstar Mary Woronov in person! Peaches
interviews and pays tribute to the star of Deathrace 2000, Eating
Raoul, Rock N' Roll High School, and The Chelsea Girls followed by
audience Q&A, and fan meet & greet in the lobby of the theatre.

AUGUST 11th & AUGUST 12th MOMMIE DEAREST
Featuring the stage-play Trannie Dearest!
http://www.peacheschrist.com/mmass/2006/week7.html

"No wire hangers-ever!" Faye Dunaway belches those infamous words in
this over-the-top biopic of actress Joan Crawford, based on the
scandalous memoir by her adopted daughter Christina (Diana Scarwid).
Like all good camp, this movie was supposed to be serious drama. Come
see how miserably they failed! Directed by Frank Perry. (USA, 1981)

*The Midnight Mass Players in association with the lovely ladies of
Trannyshack proudly present the theatrical world premiere of Trannie
Dearest! A fully original play written by Heklina and Peaches Christ.

8/20 SF UNDERGROUND SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
http://www.peacheschrist.com/underground.html

presents the San Francisco Underground Short Film Festival. Enjoy
