Artists explore sound and music in a specially-designed circular 6-channel speaker sound space that will allow artists to move and manipulate sounds and have audiences experience aural landscapes in an all- encompassing surround environment. This is the 3rd in a series of events exploring SURROUND>SOUND in June/July at ATA, The LAB and Luggage Store Gallery. Electronic music artists Night Night, and GroundChuck will perform their works split on 6 channels creating an acrobatic musical feast for the ears. Performance artist Tim Gallaher creates surround audio/visual filmsongs. In a special collaboration, Night Night, reinterprets award-winning theatre composer Don Seaver 's dramatic scores for plays and musicals, including Medea and The Crucible in the surround environment.
